Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and creative Social Media Specialist to join our team reporting to the Communicator Director. As a Social Media Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing our Social Media strategy in order to increase our online presence and improve our marketing and sales efforts. You will be working closely with the Marketing and Sales departments. The job is based in our headquarters in Paris (France), however a remote office is also possible.

Your communication knowledge and experience will help Shippeo to increase the brand awareness across Europe and new markets such as US and APAC and establish Shippeo as the leader in Transportation Real time visibility.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Develop, implement and manage our social media strategy
  • Define most important social media KPIs
  • Manage the day-to-day handling of all social media channels such as LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, YouTube - publishing relevant, creative and high-quality content
  • Measure the success of every social media campaign
  • Stay up to date with the latest social media best practices and technologies
  • Use your social media marketing Hubspot
  • Attend educational conferences
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Sales and HR teams to define the social media calendar
  • Monitor SEO and user engagement and suggest content optimization
  • Analyse competitors' communication and social media activities

Qualifications

Ideal profile

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in marketing, communications, public relations or a related field
  • 3+ years experience working in a communication position in a B2B environment preferably at a software company
  • Keen attention to detail and organizational skills required
  • Excellent knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Instagram, Google+ and other social media best practices
  • Understanding of SEO and web traffic metrics
  • Experience with doing audience and buyer persona research
  • Good understanding of social media KPIs
  • Familiarity with web design (Canva) and publishing (Hubspot)
  • Fluent in English. French is a plus
  • Excellent ability to multitask and prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment
