Mission and main responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Head of Digital Communications, and in collaboration with the Social Media Coordinator, this position is responsible for executing the company's social media strategy. This includes writing and/or editing social content, creating social media campaigns, providing strategic input on how to engage our communities, and analysis on how to optimize our operations.
Working with Corporate Communication and teams across the business to curate, write, edit and publish content on the corporate social media channels, assessing as appropriate for each platform
Contribute to a content calendar and strategy that ensures social channels are frequently updated with engaging, relevant content that clearly describes current milestones while at the same time supporting the Sanofi story
Contribute proposals for the planning of corporate communications in relation with the Editorial Committee
Design and create digital highlights/programs for Sanofi's corporate social networks, its executives and for the group's activities
Manage agencies as needed to ensure a thoughtful and consistent approach
Work with the team to develop guidance documents including best practices on corporate social media, personal use of social media, and branding guidelines and work to effectively disseminate globally
Must develop strong understanding of compliance issues/regulations to be able to champion best practices across the corporate social media channels
Experience working in or with a large, diverse and complex organization
Experience with communications in a tightly regulated environment is a plus
Experience in healthcare communications is a plus
Approximately 5-8 years of corporate communications experience, with strong social media experience and interest
Fluent English: creative mastery of language and flawless grammar
Superior writing, editing and storytelling skills required with ability to tailor writing style to digital and social platforms
A strong aptitude for and working knowledge of social platforms, digital tools, technologies, and content management systems
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and in teams
