To accompany its exponential growth, Fortinet is seeking an Events Marketing Intern who will report into the EMEA Events team who support the EMEA Event Strategy in the region by implementing Fortinet-led, Pan-EMEA events, Industry sponsorships and the EMEA EBC program.

The position will be part of the EMEA Events Marketing organization and will report into the Director of EMEA Events. The role requires to work closely with the field marketing, solutions marketing, brand/creative and sales teams and will support the EMEA Events Director in implementing projects and internal marketing campaigns where they support sales and pipeline generation.

The position will be based in Sophia Antipolis (France).

Roles and Responsibilities

Executive Briefing Center

  • Support the EBC Program Manager where necessary the management and co-ordination of EBC programs; Briefing Source; logistics, 3rd party provider coordination (when physical); platform management (when virtual)
  • Assist on the promotion of the EBC strategy to drive usage via marketing programs internally and position the EBC as a strategic sales tool within the organization
  • Provide reports on EBC status incl. SFDC follow-up to support EBC ROI

Events Planning

  • Support the Events Manager in the management of Fortinet-Led Pan EMEA events (either virtual or physical); landing page creation and registration management; logistics (incl. 3rd party providers where necessary); delegate coordination
  • Support the co-ordination of lead generation and relevant uploads into CRM; timely coordination of all statistics, reporting and ROI
  • Support creation of acquisition marketing plans to drive attendance and report where required
  • Contribute to ad-hoc marketing & strategic projects support to underpin the EMEA event strategy

3rd Party Events

  • Support the Events Team in the coordination of Fortinet attendance at 3rd party events; contract and invoice management; liaison with internal stakeholders for booth management and attendance; coordination of lead generation and uploads into CRM; detailed reporting to show ROI

Profile & Skills

  • Written and oral English and French a bonus
  • Marketing, events or business studies
  • Excellent multi-project management, prioritization, and time management skills
  • Organized, deadline-sensitive, self-driven, reliable and detail oriented
  • Excellent analytical approach and knowledge to learn CRM (SFDC preferably) tools and excellent understanding of Excel
  • Team player and capable of assisting team members across all areas of the event management when required
  • Enthusiastic team player able to adapt to the Fortinet corporate culture
