Just off the Champs-Elysées, Four Seasons Hotel George V, Paris is superbly located in the heart of the most fashionable quarter of Paris. Fronting on Avenue George V, it is ideally situated near the business district and major tourist attractions.
The 244 rooms Hotel includes 59 suites. Classic French furnishings and Parisian style create an elegant residential atmosphere. The hotel's 5 Michelin starred restaurants serve refined cuisine in an elegant and warm atmosphere.
We are looking for our Parisian property for an experienced and qualified Responsable Groupes et Evénements (M/F).
The candidate must hold the required authorization to work in a European country
A fluent level of French and English are required.
Position based in Paris.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
We are looking for individuals with exceptional interpersonal, organization, and communications skills. Someone who is able to successfully multi-task in a fast-pasted environment, is proactive, creative, and enjoys working in a team environment.
After receiving the first version of the Sales Manager's Summary Group, complete and update the file to ensure full communication with operations and the client.
For Groups with confirmed Food & Beverage revenue or the potential to generate it or for single events, to be a force of proposal to the clients by proposing an attractive and creative offer, tailor-made events in order to reach both a maximum revenue potential and profitability.
To work as a team with the Sales Department and the Events Manager, to ensure the appropriate use of function space to achieve maximum revenue.
Ensure that the rooming list received from the client corresponds to the terms of the contract and send it to the Reservations Department, together with the relevant and important information of each profile to be inserted on Opera and Golden.
Ensure the updating of the event part related to the groups in the Golden Sales and Catering tool, ensure a regular follow up of the latter and an update of the income.
Finalise the contractual requirements of the group whilst maximising revenue potential through additional sales and ensuring effective communication both written (email client type, group summary, BEO, reports...) and verbal with all Hotel Departments and the client.
Maintain an organised group management process, ensuring that customers and operations are informed in a timely manner. Ensure accuracy of invoices and review of the final invoice with the Sales Manager at the end of the event.
Work with the Banqueting team on the proper execution of Beo's and ensure compliance with the contract and quality standards. Review all shows with the Banqueting Department.
Ensure that the Group is provided with a unique experience and the highest level of satisfaction.
Participate in inspection visits with the Sales Manager and/or his teams.
Plan and/or attend and/or participate in internal and customer meetings including: Morning Briefings, BEO Meetings, Resume Meetings Sales Meeting, Pre-Convention Meetings, Testing Menu and Site inspection....
Ensure the correct and regular use of Golden Sales and Catering, in accordance with Four Seasons standards
Comply with the Four Seasons House Rules and the Standards of Conduct set out in EmPact.
Apply Four Seasons Sales and Marketing standards, and work harmoniously and professionally with your colleagues and members of the Management Committee.
Make timely decisions that take into account the needs of guests as well as the financial, profitability, staffing and safety objectives of the hotel.
To provide solutions to difficulties encountered and glitches related to groups during the Group's stay. To keep the Management Committee informed in real time of any problems or events of an unusual nature that arise so that the necessary adjustments can be made as soon as possible.
To be familiar with the technical data relating to the Salons (facilities, capacity, dimensions, etc.) and the basic needs of the operational departments.
To ensure regular analysis of the competitive market and to make proposals on future event and F&B trends in collaboration with the Catering Department.
