This position is responsible for leading all local marketing operations & Sales application, activities and initiatives for Machine OEM Segment and Industrial Control Product Field Product Manager in France.

This is an essential role in the local sales organizations. The Machine OEM Segment & ICDP Field Product Manager is to cooperate actively with relevant local sales teams and the European & local marketing team to agree on business strategies to drive profitable growth. He/She will define the go to market, segment & products marketing tactics, target audiences, develop and execute marketing plans to support the agreed short & long-term business targets.

  • Active contribution to creation of local business strategies & tactics for the supported segments in cooperation with local sales organizations
  • Deploy the local marketing tactics supporting the defined business strategy,
  • Set up SMART objectives, build and execute a comprehensive marketing plan for target audiences
  • Track the results of segment specific marketing activities, and ensure high ROI
  • Customer support including modelling to support integration of ICPD solutions into their applications
  • Help sales and quotation team to select the best solutions and approach to win new customers and tenders
  • Post-sales support in helping sales teams and key customers to be autonomous.
  • Support automation partners
  • Support VOC for program and products

The Machine OEM Segment and Industrial Control Product Field Product Manager will have as key missions:

  • Work closely with local sales people to understand the market, key customer segments, their needs and challenges, their touchpoints and define Eaton value proposition and marketing strategy for these customers and markets
  • Drive the implementation of the Machine OEM segment strategy in France through direct and channel marketing activities
  • Work closely with EMEA segment marketing to define campaign topics and personas as well as message map development
  • Define integrated and multi-channel marketing campaigns for the segments, ensure their alignment with the overall business goals and business strategy
  • Develop/localize marketing content, campaigns, and programs targeting focus customer audiences
  • Execute the campaigns in cooperation with other marketing team members (channel marketing, digital marketing, FPMs)
  • Ensure continuous tracking and optimization of campaigns and tactics to achieve the highest ROI
  • Develop push and pull activities with the channel marketing.
  • Support the develop, realization and follow up of events
  • Responsible for successful cooperation with the relevant central segment teams and Bus
  • Manage the ICPD portfolio through the entire life cycle and contribute to the successful sales of the products to the defined target markets in France:
  • Selection of products fitting the need of the defined target markets
  • Market gap & product fit analysis
  • Competitive analysis of supported product ranges
  • Price positioning versus competitors on the local market
  • Ensure product margins and profitability, support with specific price requirements
  • Manage products through the entire life cycle starting form a product introduction to the phase-out of the products and replacement with the new products.
  • Manage, monitor and ensure successful product launches fitting customer needs and company target.
  • Use intimate understanding of customers, their markets, buying habits and pain points to help shape Eaton's business strategy, as well as customer & project targeting
  • High involvement in market intelligence projects for the relevant products in cooperation with the Market intelligence, EMEA pricing and relevant BU teams
  • Define service offer for the supported products together with service team
  • Technical support to the sales team

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualifications :

  • Experience of the Machine OEM & Industry market
  • Engineer background (BTS Automatisme Industriel au minimum)
  • Customer management & sales capabilities
  • First sales experience in industry
  • At least 5 years of experience in marketing or communication field. Experience
  • in B2B is an advantage
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Experience in demand generation campaigns, digital marketing and ROI responsibility
  • Experience working with international cross-functional teams in a dynamic, matrixed environment
  • Proven track record in creative project planning, project management and working under
  • deadlines
