About the Role:
As a Regional Sales Director in the Marketing Mix Modeling department at Nielsen, you will play a vital role in helping our clients ensure that every dollar they spend on marketing is profitable. We provide data-driven insights, software interfaces, and consultation to help our clients achieve the results they need. We work with various stakeholders, from CMOs to insights teams, media teams to market research, brands to commerce, and global to local.
Responsibilities and Mission:
- Build and update an action plan to achieve sales objectives
- Exceed quarterly/annual sales targets by prospecting and closing new deals with new clients and cultivating relationships with existing clients to secure contracts with new brands
- Manage a complex sales cycle, involving the entire sales process and relevant resources such as solution consultants, customer success team, legal, finance, etc.
- Meet key performance indicators, focusing on closing new business and finding new opportunities with existing clients
- Create and maintain an accurate sales opportunity pipeline in Salesforce to ensure target achievement
- Collaborate closely with Customer Success and Operations teams to meet financial goals and ensure program delivery matches sales promises
- Work closely with Nielsen Media organization within your territory to leverage Nielsen's extensive reach
- Engage and develop relationships with senior executives across a range of advertisers and platforms
- Deliver short-term results while maintaining a long-term perspective to maximize overall revenue generation
- Accurately forecast quarterly revenue attainment
- Embrace our "Challenger" sales approach
- Significant sales experience in media measurement and/or enterprise SaaS technology and marketing return on investment solutions
- Thorough understanding of marketing effectiveness measurement
- Fluent in English and native French language skills are essential
- Successful experience in sales, consistently meeting or exceeding individual quotas exceeding 1 million USD
- Experience in closing six-figure contracts
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including strong presentation skills
- Strong understanding of solution selling and consulting
- Self-motivated, capable of generating sales leads and building strong partnerships
- Passion for sales and customer satisfaction
