Primary Function of Position:

The Digital Marketing Specialist position will define best practice for Intuitive's global enterprise web and social media presence in France. Reporting to the Marketing Communication & Events Manager, you will help define and deliver Intuitive's global brand voice through digital content creation on internal and external platforms. As part of the French Marketing department, you will work cross-functionally to define and deliver meaningful, measurable business messaging to key stakeholders. You will work in alignment with European and country marketing function. Bringing a consistent approach to content strategy, digital marketing copywriting, organic and paid content. In this role, you will have the ability to demonstrate how strategy is defined for copy and content development with cross-functional resources when writing for real-time community channels.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with marketing and communications partners to understand goals and audiences and define strategic digital content opportunities in strong collaboration with the European digital team
  • Analysis, positioning and implementation of a strategy for the website and social media activity
  • Development, sharing and monitoring of an editorial calendar to fuel the creation of permanent and evolving content
  • Definition, management, optimization and regular reporting for social media campaigns and programs day-to-day care, feeding, development, and publishing of content on established platforms (social media, website, intranet)
  • Hands-on, consistent community management and engagement including issues management and follow-up of customers' or patients' comments.
  • Define, and continually refine, social listening for the purpose of daily monitoring, industry and competitive landscape, opportunity identification, customer and patient discussions (inc. complaints), and issues management (in partnership with Global Public Affairs)
  • Partner with Market Intelligence group on meaningful inclusion of social media insights relevant to existing market research/reporting
  • Analysis of statistics, traffic data and campaign results to adjust digital marketing strategies and assess content effectiveness, evaluate ROI
  • Identify, validate, and make the case for new accounts, channels, campaign types, tools, and cross-functional programs as warranted.


Skills, Experience, Education, & Training:

  • Proficient in English and French
  • Minimum 3+ years of increasing responsibility for brand, or client brand, web content and social media community and campaign management in regulated industry; medical device experience preferred
  • Demonstrable results in web and social media campaign management
  • Proficiency and demonstrable experience with on-platform, paid campaign definition (SEA), management, and the ability to turn data points and acronyms into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to solve open-ended problems and work cross-functionally towards shared goals
  • Essential skill in the utilization of major SMM, SaaS and listening tools (Ex: Social Studio, Sprinklr, Symplur, Brandwatch) and comfort with complementary tools (Conductor, Digimind...) to consider SEO, market, earned media
  • Deep and broad reporting, budget, program and agency management, analytical and prioritization skills
  • Experience in working with content lifecycle tools (e.g. Veeva Promomats) appreciated
  • Superior verbal/written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Impeccable attention to accuracy and detail
  • Minimum BA/BS degree preferred in Marketing, Public Relations, Business, or Communications
